Volunteer as an Event Associate (EA)
Purchase your event pass. On our volunteer form, choose to volunteer any amount of time before earning a refund towards your event pass and competition entries (your support to help us is greatly appreciated). You can earn $15/hr for each additional hour or earn $20/hr in Specialist roles like Senior Event Associate positions or as Dance Floor crew.

How it works
Two-three Weeks before event
After submitting your volunteer form, we’ll email you a Welcome package with instructions on downloading and joining our HomeBase HR team application.
In the App, pick from your approved roles, their tasks, and their available shifts. You may later trade tasks and shifts with others. You control when and where you are helping. We want you to enjoy your favourite BTO activities.
Event Weekend
Check in at Registration desk before each shift to help us confirm booked shifts are filled
One Week After event
You will receive a confirmation email to validate your EA hours. Refunds are issued to your credit card to ensure tax and service fees are also refunded.
