Comps & Docs

Discover the fun and excitement of competitions where audiences cheer more for what you do, not how well you do.

We have awards each evening for each day’s competitions. All results are posted at the end of the weekend on the event Facebook page.

Check out the competition rules to ensure your safety, the best possible experience, and the Do’s and don’ts. Those under age 18 must have a signed parental or guardian consent form.

Competitions Offered

Jack and Jill (WSDC ages 16+)

WSDC competitions are restricted to those aged 16 and over at the end of the event weekend. All other competitions are open to those 13 and over the end of the event weekend.

During the 1950s in Southern California, Jack Carey implemented a dance competition without the need to sign up as a couple. He also promoted using a slot for WCS dancing. To honour him, we continue to use Jack and Jill as this contest’s name while embracing inclusiveness with it being gender-neutral.

Pro-Am Jack and Jill – Krazy Canuck Challenge – A Head-to-head battle for Dancers age 13 and over. Audience-selected judges are picked from a charity draw.

Celebrating our history, Crazy Canucks was the nickname given Sport journalists throughout the world for Canada’s daring World Cup Alpine racers of the 1970’s. To keep the event light and fun, we tweaked the name to Krazy Canucks Challenge.

Be sure to purchase tickets for the Judges draw if you’re not in finals!
